Caleb – Yeah when Neon Bible first came out, compared to Funeral at least, I didn’t really listen to it at all. It wasn’t really til this year that I actually gave it another serious listen and loved it. So maybe somewhere down the line you’ll end up liking it.

I was actually like that with Tom Waits. The first time I heard him I was like…this guy sounds so dumb…but I’m sure at some point in time…I’ll love him. Haha. So of course that ended up happening as well.

I concur on the Bruce statement as well. His vocals are a lot less shaky and more rockin.

I like it but, then again, I was never a huge Arcade Fire fan. That’s my secret confession. Neon Bible never did much for me. I like this new record, though, mainly because it’s not so dark and insular and sort of sounds more like Bruce Springsteen.

Caleb – I agree with you on the 80′s feel. There are a couple of the songs on it (now that I’ve listened to it) that Regine sings on that are soooo 80′s synth dance party. Hahaha. Have you listened to it all the way through yet? What are your first impressions?

Bryan – Music Friday’s sounds like a way good idea! Let’s start doing that.

I always find downloads for bands very quickly on mediafire but links sometimes get taken down so you should just check a few.

I am way less interested in the red/mudd aspect of that than i am in that you shot and edited that on the EYE phone. Pretty solid. Have you had much of the signal problems with the 4?
