iPod Hookup!

November 1, 2007

Hey Guys this is a call out for some help,

Any of you want or know anyone who would be interested in buying an iPod Video 30 GB with invisible shield on it? Invisible shield is the best thing you can put on it, in my opinion.

$200, let me know.

Spread the word, thanks.

My pod, and how it has changed my life…

September 14, 2007

Dear Friends,

I write to you from the desk of a man that has changed. Changed, you ask. Yes, changed. Really Nick? Yes, really James. Now quit asking questions so that I may continue with my explanation.

Well I first noticed a change when I returned home from work on my lunch break. There was this little brown box that looked unattractive but small and curious. yes, the box was curious, as to why it was ugly but so small. When I lifted the box I noticed that when I looked up, everything seemed clearer. You see, I wear glasses sometimes (only very seldom) because my eyes are not perfect. Yet, just upon touching the package my eyesight had been corrected.

As I delved deeper into the boxes I came upon the most attractive, little black box I had ever seen. A picture of Nelly Furtado graced the front. She was staring at me, as if to say, “hey there bog {(or big), depending on where you currently reside} boy, you want to dance!” But she really wasn’t saying that because it was just a picture. The box was sexy and I mean SEXY. (Kind of like how Bryan looks in his running shorts and nothing else.) I would say that just the box was as big as the oldest iPod. I thought to myself, ” there is no way that everything they say is included is actually included, IT WOULD NEVER FIT!” Was I ever wrong. I opened the box and immediately tears fell down my cheeks. The most beautiful piece of equipment I had ever seen was staring back at me. I could have swron I heard it say “Da Da.” But then I realized that my dad was in the kitchen trying to remember the words to the chicken dance.

So, there I was with this scintillating iPod, with all its majesty and gloriousness?? sitting perfectly in this little black box. Underneath, everything(headphones, USB Cable, Manuals) were all so small and delicate like the fingers of a child, eating pudding only with its hands. I immediately plugged it in and opened iTunes. What? I touched nothing and my computer and the iPod were syncing. Like the iPod could read my mind. (Steve Jobs, i am on to you). At last victory had been achieved. My library from one computer, only 19 gigs worth, was uploaded onto my iPod.

How it has changed my life:

1) I have lost 5 pounds and can feel my muscles getting bigger.

2) I have 20/20 vision and can even see through guys shirts…

3) There is an overgrowing group of attractive women following me wherever I go.

4) Excuse this but it had to be mentioned. I think “it” got bigger.

5) My teeth are whiter, straighter and perfect.

6) Last but not least, I now have millions of dollars that just randomly appeared in my accounts.

but that is not all….

To be Continued…………

Nick, How’s Your New 160GB IPOD?

September 13, 2007

I expected to see a post on this at about 5:07 tonight. As you can all see, that did not happen.

Nick, has it changed your life? Made you happy? Perhaps make you feel cool?

Give us the details. Your songs are killing me softly. Where’s the pictures? A YouTube of you opening the package? A review perhaps?

This is a ACTIVE blog Nick. What happened to our plans to become the Gizmodo/Engadget of Iowa?

An entire new line of iPods was announced earlier this morning. You can see all the info and specs on the new line here. Also, that black looking iPod in the photo above is not the iPhone, it’s the new iPod Touch.

However, in iPhone news, the 4 GB iPhone is no more. Only the 8 GB is left and Apple cut the price by $200. 8 GB iPhone now only $399.

new iMac, iLife ‘08 and iWork ‘08

If you missed out on Apple’s press conference yesterday here’s the news: Apple unveiled a new line of iMac’s, an updated iLife ‘08 suite and an updated iWork ‘08 suite. Like all things Apple, the new iMac pays close attention to detail and features a glossy glass screen and the brushed aluminum casing. To get all the info you want on the new iMacs, iLife and iWork, head over to the Apple Store here.

What are your guys’ thoughts? Do the new iMacs seem worthy of praise? For myself, I’m not so sure about the new styled keyboard.

It’s been a while, Time to talk iPhone

June 29, 2007

Hey everyone, well… hey Blake, you’re the only one that actually reads this. Anyways, it’s been quite some time since our last update, so why not a little iPhone talk. What does everyone think? There’s obviously been an impeccable amount of hype created over the last couple of months. Today, if you didn’t know, is the official release of the iPhone. Tonight at 6 p.m. the frenzy begins.

If you want to catch up on all the hype, head over to Gizmodo. You can view interviews with the first people in line, the latest pictures of the iPhone and even more iPhone reviews, as if we haven’t read enough. With all the hype, what do you guys think? Is it worth the $499 or $599 price tag? What about monthly charges? (You can view monthly charges and family plans here.) Wait for the next generation of releases? Forget about paying for the iPhone, just invest in Apple stock?

Personally, I’ll wait. I still have eight months on a contract with Verizon, most of the people I talk to are on Verizon and my band, Knuckle Sandwich, sings a song dedicated to Verizon Wireless. Lastly, I simply can’t justify $500 for a phone right now. However, check back in a few months and that train of thought could vanish.
