Laugh Break Fellas
February 25, 2008Jimmy Kimmels Fucking Ben Affleck Response to Matt and Sarah
The incredible number of people who are in this makes it funnier than anything else…..and I’m still laughing. I thought in the midst of political slander, world hunger, disease, corrupt leaders, economic turmoil, crippled schools, ect… we could all use a few laughs otherwise we’ll all die young via ulcer.
March 1st, KGG launches.

February 13, 2008Redbox!!
February 13, 2008After reading Jame’s post tonight I decided I would lift up my lazy fingers and make them do some work typing. This past Sunday I was too lazy and too cheep to drive all the way to Blockbuster to rent a movie. (Rant about Blockbuster will probably come in a later post) My solution to this laziness… drive 3 blocks (hey I’m Norwegian but its still frickin cold to walk that far) to the closest McDonalds which has a Redbox. Most of you probably know what Redboxs are, but just in case CLICK ON THESE CAPITALIZED WORDS! if you do not. I am NOT referring to this.
Anyway…
So I think I will never step foot into a movie rental store again (here in St. Paul) as long as I live at River Crossing. It isn’t that I don’t like to rent movies and that I will never rent another movie again… I will just always use Redbox from now on. I finally tried it out and MAGIC. What did you say…..their selection is less and if you don’t return it, it is $1 a day? Well the best part is I can view what the Redbox closest to me has currently for DVDs before going their. They actually have a fairly decent selection. As for $1 a day…. I could keep it for 5 days for the same price as Hollywood and Blockbuster (two places I apsolutily hate…. where are the Mr. Movies and Family Videos of MN?) Besides, why the heck do I need a movie for 5 days? The Redbox is 3 blocks away… it isn’t like it is a hassel to return it the next day. Beats driving to the Highland area of St. Paul.
Thank you Redbox, thank you.
I must add that I have had a great experience with their customer service as well.
Blake’s Story of Redbox’s Customer Service
By: Blake Faris
It was Sunday, a cold day in St. Paul. I said goodbye to some fellow 319ers at the Mall of America and felt like doing nothing more then to rent Resident Evil Extinction. I drive to McDonalds in search of this Redbox that I have heard sooo much about. As easy as eating some home made pie I found it! Excited I quickly rented a movie, grabbed the case and went home. Come to find out… FuFu Fa Ching Cho La (some cartoon) was in the case instead. I decided to send Redbox an email complaining how that kind of sucked, then went back and rented Resident Evil… again. When I got home 5 minutes later Redbox support had already sent me a email with a free promo code in it!!!! 5 MINUTES! Geez.
Redbox…. thank you.
Here is a picture in honor of you:

Anyone else used Redbox or have good/bad experiences with it?
I also must add that I really like having the option to rent the movie online so it reserves it for you!
MOVIE TALK!
February 12, 2008Haha. I hope everyone likes my dumb title. So I’ve been to a lot of movies lately. -Juno-There Will Be Blood-No Country For Old Men-CloverfieldI was wondering if anyone else has seen any of these movies and if so what they thought of any of them? Or if there are any other good movies out that I didn’t mention. There is nothing I love more then going to the movies and eating popcorn. Haha.
